Elaina Love’s son Dominic has crossed over after a year of Leukemia.A colorful river of grieving washes over me this morning.  And a Dominic poem springs forth.

A Gift from Dominic

Interconnected silk knots in the web of life    -  One of us undone.
Now there is an opening in the web, a portal.
Jump in with both feet!
Do not hesitate.
It will be open only for a short while.
There, in the open field of  wild flowers – dance, cry and drink the rain
For it will quench your thirst for belonging.
You are home – the territory of the Soul.
Dominic has opened the door.
