How My Love Triangle with Ben and Jerry Got Busted + Big News!

Today I am feeling giddy, famous, and turned ON! You know why?

I am featured in bestselling author Gail McMeekin’s newest book,

I am often asked about my personal victories and failures along the road to success.
My training as an Olympic gymnast shaped me to be persistent, determined and resilient to the nth degree -all good things. But that same background made me extremely wound up, chronically exhausted and often lonely – as in, years of no one but Ben and Jerry in the bedroom. (Frisky, yes, but in an ironic way!) Clients and colleagues ask me:

 

“How in the world did you get from there, to here?”

Years after choosing not to get back on the bus and return to Ukraine, I boarded a dilapidated Greyhound and rode across country to Boulder, Colorado. I was on my way to attend Naropa University – a college founded by a renowned Tibetan monk. The experience stretched my mind and my heart immeasurably. I moved from a life of go, go, go to allowing, receiving and asking for help.

What a reality flip-flop!

Fast forward to 2010: I walked away from my booming Raw Food consulting biz of three years to answer my calling to write a book and speak on the stage. (My love triangle with Ben and Jerry was officially busted when my Hot Monogamy Manifesto came on the scene!) It was at a seminar for speakers that year that I met bestselling author Gail McMeekin. She was impressed by the fact that I had taken bold risks in my personal life to become who I am today by starting over from scratch – multiple times!

She asked if she could feature me in her upcoming sequel, The Twelve Secrets of Highly Successful Women. I was hugely excited and honored – and of course, said Yes.

And here we are. One pivotal decision (to not get back on the bus) has led me on an adventure filled with public speaking, business creativity, passion, pure love – and now the glamour of being featured in the sequel to an empowering bestseller!

How Your Rocking Relationship Can Accelerate Your Business

For the past two weeks I have been in writer’s heaven, typing away on my upcoming book about the ‘Wealthy Lovers Adventure’. During this process, some publishing friends recommended Marie Forleo‘s book ‘Make Every Man Want You’. The title of this book does not fully reflect the rich personal growth material presented within it. Marie wrote her book, then later had to shelve it when her engagement fell apart, and she handed back the diamond ring to her ex-fiancé. Reading Marie’s own personal story inspired me to share mine with you today.

I love the daily comments I receive from all of you about how authentically in-love my husband Vladi and I are in the videos on this blog. The story of how we met is one of my heart-favorites, I must admit. You can listen to it here. What you may not know is that two years ago we were on the brink of a divorce. I even drove him to the airport with a ticket to Bangkok, and a note that said ‘I love you, babe! Let’s figure it out or separate.’

The breakthrough that happened next defies the conventional blocks in relationships. Out of a crisis we made a quantum leap, both as individuals and as a couple. We never dreamed we could be so happy, successful and in-love.

Studies show that a woman’s success DOUBLES when her juicy intimate relationship fuels her business. Are you subotaging your big dreams when you settle for less than harmony at home? A VIP client recently told me about how excited she is to grow her business, but how deflated she feels at home: ‘I can’t be shackled like this. This is not okay. I believe I was born for greatness. Research shows that 80% of couples will experience the challenge of infidelity in their relationship. That means infidelity, as painful as it is, can be considered a ‘normal’ relationship hurdle. If you are faced with such a challenge in your relationship, you have the choice to settle, to separate, or to LEAP over it!

Use the hurdles in your relationship as opportunities for spiritual mastery!

Make a Quantum Leap – both as an individual and as a couple.

So the Fourth path is to take a leap, and write a new story about who you are becoming (and I can help you with this) as a couple—then get engaged together to that NEW STORY.
